Nigel Holmes Video

hey this is just a quick one, i just watched this informative lecture/video from Nigel Holmes on information design etc. Its quite fun and informative. I would recommend reading something by him too.

Beirut – Realpeople Holland

So I just got my hands on the new Beirut album, March of the Zapotec and Realpeople Holland.  They are two seperate albums with quite different styles, both of them awesome. But I am especially in love with a track from the second disc, called ‘No Dice’. Another good track is ‘My Night With The Prostitute From Marseille’, it has that sort of Joy Division/Patrick Wolf style vocals over some lucious electronic beats.

I would also recommend the first disc as it is also excellent.
